Cindy Becker has over twenty years of legal experience and is licensed in both Texas and Illinois. Her practice is focused primarily on construction and contract law. Prior to practicing law, Cindy received a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Texas in Austin and worked for several years in the architectural field both in Texas and California before attending Chicago-Kent College of Law. During law school, she served as a judicial intern for the Honorable James Alesia, United States District Judge, and the Honorable Thomas Rosemond, United States Magistrate, both of the Northern District of Illinois. She began her legal career representing public sector clients in construction law matters and later broadened her practice to include construction law representation of private owners, general contractors, and subcontractors. Cindy is also an experienced provider of alternative dispute resolution (ADR) services serving as a neutral in both mediations and arbitrations. She currently serves as an active neutral on the Commercial Panel for the American Arbitration Association resolving construction related disputes.
